UDCA was used to study the changes of blood biochemical indexes of intrauterine cholestasis (ICP) in pregnant rats, and to investigate the effects of fenvalerate X receptor (FXR) agonist - chenodeoxycholic acid Liver transplantation and the prognosis of fetal rats. Methods: 40 rat SD rats were randomly divided into control group, ICP group, UDCA group and CDCA group. Methods: ALT, aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alkaline phosphatase (ALP) and total bile acid (TBA) were measured. The pathological changes of liver were observed under light microscope. ALT, AST, ALP and TBA in the ICP group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P <0.0083). Compared with the ICP group, the levels of ALT, AST and ALP in the UDCA group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P> 0.008 3). There was no significant improvement in the levels of ALT, AST and ALP in CDCA group (P> 0.008 3), but TBA was significantly decreased (P <0.008 3). Body weight and mortality were not significantly different from those of ICP group (P> 0.008 3). Under the light microscope, the hepatocellular dysplasia, hepatic sinusoid narrowing and bile duct dilatation were observed in the ICP group. The hepatic steatosis of UDCA group was obvious. Conclusion: UDCA can improve the liver function of ICP rats, but can not reduce the blood bile acid level and fetal death rate. Chenodeoxycholic acid can significantly decrease bile acid and promote bile acid metabolism, but it can not improve the blood glucose.
