Henan Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine published a paper designed to establish a HPLC-UV-ELSD method for the simultaneous determination of six effective components of phlegm-qingqing injection (protocatechuic acid, chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid, baicalin, acid, chenodeoxycholic acid) content. The study pointed out that the method is specific and durable, and can be used for the determination and quality control of six components in Tanreqing injection. The article was published on "Journal of Drug Analysis".
Simultaneous determination of six active ingredients in Tanreqing injection by different detectors under the same chromatographic conditions. HPLC-UV determination of protocatechuic acid, chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid, baicalin, HPLC-ELSD Cholic acid, chenodeoxycholic acid. The mobile phase was eluted with Venusil XBP-C18 column (4.6 mm × 250 mm, 5 μm) and acetonitrile (A) -4% acetic acid (B) as a mobile phase. The flow rate was 1 m L · min-1, detection wavelength 300 nm, ELSD drift tube temperature 70 ℃.
The concentrations of protocatechuic acid, chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid, baicalin, ursodeoxycholic acid and chenodeoxycholic acid were 0.020.42μg · m L-1 (r = 0.999 6), 0.316.12μg · m (R = 0.999 6), 32.02640.50 μg · m L-1 (r = 0.999 6), 0.5911.84 μg · m L-1 (r = 0.999 1), 33.24664.75 μg · m L- = 0.999 4) and 5.58111.60 μg · m L-1 (r = 0.999 8), and the average recoveries were between 97.8% and 101.5%.
